“My mission is not only limited to formulating and implementing the business and technological strategy, but also in envisaging, constructing, and sustaining the organisational structure, in which people could work together as one organism, committed to delivering towards advancing our common goals whilst upholding the philosophy: ‘Where there is unity there is always victory’.

In alignment with my mission, I envisaged a new, truly sustainable organisation which necessitated a very distinctive leadership style, as well as a different model for integration, communication, and a much higher level of operational interdependence. Our team leaders had to learn how to be omnipresent in different process operations that work simultaneously, where our manufacturing division and administrative leaders were responsible for defining the results to be delivered against the goals set by the board and take responsibility for realising them.

My strategy is to consistently employ a lean manufacturing operating model designed to provide the highest product quality with lowest operating costs. I lead and maintain a firm-wide culture of high standards of business ethics and transparent business operations, thus creating a first-class business that operates to serve our clients, partners and investors in a first-class way.”

Background of the CEO:

Our CEO Mr Jayakumar Nadar, was born in the year 1963 into a business family from Kodungallur, Kerala. Finished graduation in the year 1984 in commerce. Took over family business of pulses processing under the brand name ‘Butterfly Brand’ and ‘JayKay Brand’. Spearheaded the pulses business successfully and continues to provide regular business advisory to the group. In the year 1991 diversified the group business by taking petroleum dealerships from IBP company (presently Indian Oil Corporation) with outlets in prime locations in Cochin and Alwaye. This business continues to perform consistently demonstrating strong financials and customer service satisfaction.

From 1992 to 2014 founded multiple business in Dubai and Sharjah. The line of business include: Photo studio chain, pharmacy chain, B2B food products supply company, shipping logistics company and scrap metal processing company. The business maintains its consistent revenues and financial performance.

In the year 2009, joined Al Kawther Steel & Building Material Manufacturing, Doha Qatar as a partner and was a founding member for the steel rolling mill infrastructure setup in the factory. Further spearheaded the expansion of this business with additional lines for production by adding two more rolling mills and implemented automation to improve efficiencies.

Now Leading Al Kawther Steel into a new era of manufacturing with further expansion into steel melting. The strategy lead by me aims for further expansion of the manufacturing infrastructure by adding melting furnace and additional rolling mill with an estimated investment of USD 5 million. The project is in pilot production and is presently in the process of optimisation which will be completed in the year 2023.
